level 3 with getting crushed by the boxes is NOT intuitive. Level 8 was in theory supposed to be the good one with a catch, but to be fair it was more annoying and I found the solution just by randomly trying out stuff at this point...

The graphics are as basic as they can get, but they do their job fine.

Music is pleasant to listen to, and - most importantly - doesn't get boring.

It's a pretty good game if you like puzzles.

I'm probably not the best person to play this game, as I have had very little to do with games made for Gameboy and such, oh well. That's one of the reasons why I won't rate it as low as I feel, others might enjoy it way more than I did.

Now that that's out of the way, I'd point out the good stuff first. The graphics are what you'd expect - not in the bad meaning of the word, quite the opposite actually. If there's one thing I think about when it comes to this kind of games made for older devices, it's definitely the lovable pixel graphics. It was one of the things that amazed me here as well, as the tiles are very clean and they do their job perfectly.

Sadly I'm afraid that's all that's really worth mentioning when it comes to the good parts. The music basically gave me a headache - true, it's kind just of how it often is for those types of devices, but there is still a ton of music like that I will actually enjoy - and that's just not one of those. To be fair, at this point I'd rather have it completely silent, during some parts it's just unpleasant to listen to, there's too much noise fit in one place, at least for me.

I've heard that's kind of how the older games often were, but throwing me into a world just like that and expecting me to find something placed I-don't-even-know-where isn't the greatest idea (at least given what people right now are used to, like I said, I'd imagine it'd be nothing out of ordinary back in the day).

Overall, I wasn't really interested at all, and I quit rather quickly, but there's a fair chance that it's SIMPLY not my environment. Regardless of everything, I see you definitely put a lot of work into this, so good work! I hope other people will enjoy it more!

Entirely fair comments, I appreciate you giving the game a shot regardless and taking the time to write this. All the best!

The character feels weird to control. Also, the transitions between levels cold definitely take less time. The graphics are nice, the music too. The idea is also really solid.

Overall pretty good

Very nice, simple game.

A truly amazing puzzle game! At first I thought the concept didn't exactly feel like anything new at all, but then was pleasantlly surprised by the clever design of the rooms!

The art is really great as well. The music gets a bit annoying after a while though.

Such a great puzzle game! The art and the music are great, and the gameplay is real fun, too!

lol, fun little game! Wish I could "recover" from a hit by using a keyboard button instead of pressing the mouse, though

Neat! The puzzles are very well designed! :)

Great art, awesome music!

The gameplay also feels great, though at first I mistook some projectiles for coins and kept getting myself killed XD

It becomes kind of repetitive after a while though, but then, I haven't tried the higher difficulties, so MAYBE it's a bit better there.

Overall, awesome work! This can definitely become an amazing game in the future!

Oh, and also, the font kinda killed my eyes (or maybe it was the font together with the small window) :/

Why is this so low rated? The game TOTALLY feels like Give Up!

The sounds are pretty bad, and the music would be 10/10 if not for the weird, poor quality, though when you focus on the gameplay, it doesn't really matter.

I was bothered by the lack of double jump if I didn't actually jump, rather fell from a patform - that's one bad thing. (wait, it's actually there? It feels weird tho oO)

The gameplay is amazing! Really tough, but this ACTUALLY feels fair, not like many many other platformers I see. The controls are stiff, but in a good way; the character is totally controllable with enough skill.

Also, wth is this 1-block gap in lv. 9? I passed through it the first time, but then couldn't do it again. How does this work? o.O

Also lol, this is so old XD
People should still be playing it though, this is awesome!

P.S. people seem to be talking a lot about lv. 8. What even was it? I passed it in like... second try, it was easy, so I can't remember XD
